Awards Morning 2008.

On Saturday 17th May at The Winston Churchill Sports Centre

Please arrive at 9.20 so that proceedings can start at 9:30

The Shoot Out will Finish By 13:00pm

Come along and hear about the achievements and Progress of the Club over the last year.

There will be presentations to all junior and senior squads for M.V.P., Top Scorer and Team Player in addition to the Chairmans’ awards.

 The morning will be rounded off by a shoot-out competition that all can enter.

Refreshments will be available and look out for the Krispy Kreme doughnuts, see detail overleaf

Awards Morning Outline Programme

9.30 - 9.40:        Welcome (Welcome all, introduction,  off-court success, format of morning etc.) – Keith F

9.40 - 9.50:        Awards Introductions - explain what each of the 3 awards means in terms of achievement – Costas

9.50 - 10.50:      Junior awards presentations ( 6 squads @ 10mins each)

                            Order: U12boys, U14boys, , U14girls, U16girls,Flyers

                                    Coaches and TM’s

10.50 - 11.05:    BREAK(1) - drink, donuts, relief, etc..

11.05 - 11.45:    Senior awards ( 4 squads @ 10mins each)

Order: U16boys (A&B),Ladies, Chasers, Hunters,

- Coaches and TM’s

11.45 - 11.50:    Chairman’s awards – Keith F

11.50 - 12.00:    Close Awards –  Keith F

12.00 – 13.15:   Shoot out competition and awards

BasketBall Shoes 50:50 Swap Shop

 If you have boots that have hardly been worn, in good condition then the Club is starting up a 50:50 exchange scheme. Bring along boots that are in good condition, hardly worn**, agree a price, generally in the £10-£20 price range and if the Club sells them you get 50% of the sale price .

Shoes for the 50:50 sale scheme will be collected at the Awards morning.

** we will not take boots that show signs of wear as this could be detrimental to the player

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Glazed Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be on sale at 50p each during the break in the awards morning. For Anybody who wants a special treat to take home, boxes of 12 glazed doughnuts can be pre-ordered to £6 a dozen. Vouchers for a dozen glazed doughnuts can also be order for £6 a dozen . Please note that vouchers can only be redeemed at Krispy Kreme Shops
